Qualifications

• Master’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, chemistry education, science education, or closely related field.
• Ph.D. in chemistry, biochemistry, chemistry education, science education, or closely related field.
• Experience teaching general chemistry and online chemistry courses.
• Demonstrated use of evidence-based instructional practices.
• Commitment to undergraduate student success; experience with modern instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Teach freshman and sophomore general chemistry courses and possibly upper-division courses.
• Lecturers teach four courses per semester as integral members of the instructional team.
• Contribute to high-quality, engaging undergraduate education and student learning.
• Participate in professional development and innovative teaching initiatives.
