Qualifications

• Ph.D. in chemistry or equivalent is strongly recommended, although an M.S. in chemistry with teaching experience would also be considered for selected laboratory courses.
• Good oral and written communication skills, commitment to student learning and team performance are required.
• Awareness of and sensitivity to the educational goals of a multicultural population as might have been gained in cross-cultural study, training, teaching and other comparable experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in chemistry as part of a lecturer pool.
• Teach small to large lecture courses as well as laboratories across biochemistry, analytical, physical, organic and inorganic chemistry.
• Organize classes within the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure faculty‑student connection.
