Job summary

Antech Diagnostics in New York seeks a Chemistry Laboratory Technician II to perform laboratory analyses, prepare samples, and operate analyzers. You will read and release test results, maintain reagents inventory, calibrate equipment, and ensure QA/QC standards are met while following SOPs.

The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and effective communication within a team. Monday–Saturday shifts apply, with weekend hours included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 2- or 4-year science-related degree preferred.
• Laboratory skills and familiarity with reading tests, QA/QC processes, and instrument operation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and clear communication in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and runs laboratory tests and analyzes samples.
• Reads and releases test results and ensures QA/QC pass before release.
• Maintains reagents inventory and calibrates/operates analyzers.
• Ensures safety procedures and SOPs are followed; supports lab efficiency.
