Overview

Job Title: Lab Technician

This position is part of a dedicated team that supports multiple divisions within a central laboratory. The role involves conducting chemical and application testing such as cleaning evaluation, damage analysis, and materials compatibility testing. You will handle samples delivered from customer sites, coordinated by field sales associates. Ensuring data accuracy, quality, and swift report turnaround are critical objectives for the department.

Responsibilities
  • Provide routine lab analysis and technical support to the Sales and Service organization.
  • Cross-train to support all types of analysis required by the lab.
  • Utilize the LIMS system for lab sample tracking and reporting.
  • Provide clear and accurate data summaries and analysis.
  • Complete special project assignments to improve the knowledge base or upgrade lab infrastructure.
  • Update and develop documentation for Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Essential Skills / Qualifications
  • Basic understanding of Chemistry, including chemical handling and safety.
  • Proficiency in safe lab techniques.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Pay and Benefits
