Job summary

TPM Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Chemistry Laboratory Manager to run day-to-day analytical lab execution and provide hands-on technical leadership, ensuring client testing stays on track and results are accurate, defensible, and on time.

The role requires managing scientists and technicians, coordinating schedules across multiple client projects, maintaining cGMP compliance, and overseeing methods from development to validation for HPLC, GC, LC-MS, and related techniques.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry or related field (advanced degree preferred).
• 8+ years in cGMP pharma/analytical labs; 3+ years leading teams.
• Strong client communication and sound technical judgment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach lab staff; set expectations and address performance issues.
• Plan schedules and staffing across client projects.
• Ensure compliant testing, documentation, and data integrity (ALCOA+).
• Oversee HPLC, GC, LC-MS, UV, IR, dissolution; guide method development and validation.
• Maintain audit readiness; lead investigations (OOS/OOT, deviations), CAPA and change control.

TPM Laboratories is seeking a Chemistry Laboratory Manager to run day-to-day analytical lab execution and provide hands-on technical leadership. This role exists to keep client testing on track, maintain cGMP compliance, and ensure results are accurate, defensible, and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and manage laboratory scientists/technicians; set expectations and address performance issues.
• Build and adjust schedules, priorities, and staffing across multiple client projects.
• Ensure compliant testing, documentation, and data integrity (ALCOA+).
• Provide technical oversight for HPLC, GC, LC-MS, UV, IR, dissolution, and wet chemistry; guide method development/validation.
• Maintain inspection and audit readiness; drive investigations (OOS/OOT, deviations), CAPA, and change control.

Salary: $125000 - $130000 per year
