Job summary

North Orange County Community College District is seeking a Laboratory Clerk in the Chemistry department at Fullerton College. You will prepare labs, set up and maintain equipment, and assist faculty and students in demonstrations and experiments.

The role supports multiple lab tasks and requires attention to safety and accurate record-keeping. The position offers a 100% workload with a Monday–Friday schedule, evenings from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM, and a flexible/hybrid work option depending on

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Preferably two years of college coursework or related training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare classroom or laboratory for instruction and set up equipment and materials.
• Maintain and store equipment and materials after use; ensure safe, orderly lab.
• Assist in ordering, receiving, and stocking supplies; maintain records of loans.
• Maintain and repair equipment as needed; report major repairs.
• Adopt emerging technologies to improve lab operations.
