Job Description:
- To create and maintain regulatory list chemical data.
- The Chemical Analyst helps in developing the core chemical data that is used in most 3E products.
Help in developing core chemical data.
- Identify substances and assign classifications as per guidelines.
- Identify and document linkage of chemicals that belong to the same family.
Deliverables:
- Uniquely identify substances against the 3E library.
- Assign CAS RN to substances as per guidelines.
- Identify and document linkage of chemicals within the same family.
- Convert data into structured formats that pass all QC checks.
- Assign EC-Number, SMILES, InChI, and molecular formulas.
- Create data test cases in the system per guidelines.
- Validate product releases against test cases, and either sign off or take remediation measures.
Required technical skills/experience:
- Understanding of organic and inorganic chemical structures, able to identify functional groups.
- Proficiency in relational table concepts and MS Access queries.
- Ability to create and execute data test cases.
- Strong analytical skills for problem-solving and data analysis.
