Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Education, or related field.
• Evidence of excellence in teaching.
• Experience supervising/overseeing a laboratory.
• Interest in advancing educational innovations.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate chemistry courses and advise students.
• Contribute to the department's ACS-accredited undergraduate program.
• Develop inquiry-based experiments and other approaches to improve student learning.
• Develop or implement valid assessments of student learning.
• Participate in TA training and mentoring, deliver laboratory lectures, and conduct office hours.
• Evaluate student progress and submit course grades; perform other administrative duties.
