Job summary

The role involves implementing diverse teaching methods in class, lab, or clinical settings and supporting course and curriculum development under the Program Chair.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with a minimum of 10 graduate hours in Physical Science, Chemistry, Physics, Earth Science, Geology, Astronomy, Environmental Science, or a closely related scientific discipline; or Master's degree in another field with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in Physical Science.
• Current unrestricted valid license, certification and/or registration issued by the appropriate administrative body.

Responsibilities

• Implements teaching methodologies in class, clinical, or lab to help students meet course outcomes.
• Participates in evaluation processes for courses, students, and clinical units.
• Completes end-of-term responsibilities such as exams, attendance, and records for the Program Chair.
• Available for student conferences and serve as a resource to colleagues.
• Maintains proficiency in learner-centered instruction through distance delivery mechanisms.
