Salt Lake Community College seeks an adjunct faculty member to teach Chemistry courses, including online sections, under the supervision of the Associate Dean. The role involves content design, delivery, and evaluating student learning in a collegial setting on campus in Utah.

The candidate will maintain professional communications with students and staff, provide timely feedback, and ensure adherence to college policies and scheduling deadlines.

Formación

• Master’s degree or higher in Chemistry or a closely related field.
• Prior college-level Chemistry teaching experience or teaching Chemistry labs.

Responsabilidades

• Teach Chemistry courses (including online) and deliver content design and delivery.
• Assess student learning and provide appropriate and timely feedback on assignments.
• Maintain attendance records and grade submissions by published deadlines.
• Maintain a safe and respectful instructional environment and respond to student inquiries promptly.
• Communicate policies and expectations to students and colleagues.
