Job summary

Linde plc in Vernon, CA is seeking a chemist for routine gas analysis and mixture preparation. You will run analytical procedures on pure and mixed gases, create specialty gas mixtures per specs, and generate certificates of analysis for products and mixtures.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Chemistry and 2+ years in an industrial lab with familiarity in analytical methods, instrumentation, and safety protocols. FDA compliance support is also required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or equivalent required.
• Experience with analytical methods in gases is preferred.
• Familiarity with safety protocols in an industrial lab is expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine analytical procedures on pure and mixed gases.

• Youwill perform routine analytical procedures on pure and mixed gases andutilize or adapt standard methods of procedure for gas analysis
• You Will run mixture calculations for routine mixtures and potentiallycreate specialty gas mixtures according to customer specifications andgenerate certificates of analysis for pure products and mixtures
• This role will require you to test cylinders for safety and fill them torequired specifications following routine procedures, and coordinate electronicanalytical tests to ensure gas mixtures meet customer requirements
• Assist with the evaluation of medical gases for FDA compliance beforedelivery
  Set up and calibrate testing equipment to required standards and maintainlab conditions
