Job summary

Piramal Pharma Solutions in Lexington seeks a Chemist II for the Analytical Quality Control lab. The role focuses on complex testing of raw materials, in-process and finished products, and calibrating instruments to cGMP standards.

You will perform wet chemistry and instrumental analyses (HPLC/GC), document results per SOPs, train entry-level QC staff, and support investigations to ensure reliable quality data for manufacturing and release.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, or related field.
• 5+ years QA laboratory experience with HPLC/GC.
• Familiar with cGMP guidelines and SOPs.
• Ability to train and guide entry level staff.
• Excellent communication and detail orientation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine testing per SOPs (HPLC/GC).
• Test raw materials, APIs, finished products, stability samples.
• Maintain and calibrate analytical instruments per GDP/cGMP.
• Document work and write reports and SOPs.
• Train entry level QC personnel and provide SME guidance.
