Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chemist II to join our dynamic team in St. Louis. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of industry experience and a strong background in analytical instrumentation, preferably with Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICPMS) and/or Gas Chromatography with Mass Spectrometry (GCMS) experience. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research and development projects within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and complex analyses using ICPMS, GCMS and/or other analytical instrumentation (HPLC, LCMS, etc.) to support various research and development projects.
  • Develop and validate analytical methods for the detection and quantification of trace elements and other compounds.
  • Interpret and report analytical data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project goals and timelines.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Document experimental procedures and results in accordance with company protocols.

Qualifications:
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of industry experience, with a focus on ICPMS and/or GCMS preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with method development and validation.
  • Experience following established methods and/or protocols.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality control procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products (word, excel, etc.).

Additional Information

Position is a full time Monday-Friday, 8-5 p.m., with overtime as needed. Candidates within commutable distance to St. Louis, MO are encouraged to apply.
