Job summary

Freudenberg is seeking a chemist/technical professional to develop new and improved products to meet customer demands in a rapid manner, and to interact with suppliers to identify and qualify raw materials.

You will provide technical support to Sales, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Supply Chain and Quality Control; support Technical Sales by attending product trials at customer sites; create detailed technical reports; and mentor less experienced staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• 3-5 years of industrial experience, including product development and formulation.
• Knowledge in polymers, lubricants, coatings, emulsions, and surface chemistry.
• Knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes.
• Wood & Paper industry knowledge a plus.
