Job summary

Innovative Labs in Utah is hiring a Chemist I to support quality testing and manufacturing of liquid dietary supplements. You will train under supervision and work independently after training, maintaining records and performing analyses on samples.

This role involves operating instruments such as HPLC, UPLC, GC, ICP-MS, and UV-Vis spectrophotometry, writing procedures, reporting results, and ensuring GMP compliance in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, speak, and understand basic English.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of GMP standards and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records of quality activities per procedures and tests.
• Keep a detailed laboratory notebook with observations.
• Perform chemical analyses on samples following established methods.
• Write and review procedures and test methods.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments.
• Identify nonconformities and implement improvements.
• Prepare samples for Heavy Metals testing and potency analyses.
• Ensure laboratory safety and proper PPE usage.
• Organize samples for analyses and report results.
