salary: $19.00 - 19.44 per hour

responsibilities:

  • Conduct precise analytical testing on both organic and inorganic samples using standard methods like ASTM.
  • Perform simple chemical experiments to support ongoing research and operational projects.
  • Strictly adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.
  • Record and maintain accurate data from experiments to ensure consistency and reliability of results.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills and stay updated with current industry practices.
  • Prepare initial reports and assist in the compilation of findings for senior chemists' review.
  • Collaborate with other team members to address challenges and improve testing methodologies.
  • Manage and safely dispose of chemicals as per environmental and safety standards.

qualifications:

Required:
  • Associate's degree in Chemistry w/ 0-3 years' of experience
  • Basic knowledge of chemical processes and laboratory techniques
  • Experience in using various types of lab equipment and familiarity with computer-based data management
