Job summary

Astrix, a long-standing leader in pharmaceutical contract manufacturing, is seeking a Chemist I in Georgia for a direct-hire role with 1st shift 8a-5p. New grads are welcome to apply.

You will perform analytical testing using HPLC, GC, TOC and wet chemistry, transfer methods, verify results, and support stability studies while helping interpret data and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related field.
  • 0-3 years of chemistry lab experience.
  • Experience with HPLC, GC, UV, FTIR, Dissolutions preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform analytical testing by HPLC, GC, TOC, and wet chemistry techniques
  • Perform method transfers, verifications, validations, and stability studies
  • Review and interpret analytical data
  • Participate in investigations and assist with root cause analysis
  • Train Chemist I associates on equipment operation and procedures
  • Review laboratory documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory bodies
