Client Overview

Our client is a well-known pharmaceutical company and is looking to add a Chemist to their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate

$40/hr - $50/hr

Position Overview

The Chemist will work in the lab to prepare solutions for the Scientists and conduct analytical testing primarily using HPLC. This role is a contract position for a minimum of 6 months.

Responsibilities Of The Chemist

• Conduct HPLC analysis on samples.
• Develop and optimize analytical assays for characterization.
• Design and execute experiments, ensuring thorough documentation of results.
• Operate and maintain a range of analytical instrumentation.
• Prepare reagents and solutions for the lab.
  
  

Required Experience/Skills for the Chemist:

• 3+ years of experience using HPLC in a professional laboratory.
• Experience preparing chemical solutions and reagents consistently.
• Good lab practices and be detail oriented.
  
  

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Chemist:

• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Chromatography skills (ex: LC, IEX, SEC).
  
  

Education Requirements:

• A BS or MS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related science is required.
