Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions seeks a biochemistry professional to perform biochemical testing on proteins and antibodies in a 12-hour rotating night shift, 5:45 PM to 6:00 AM, including weekends and holidays per schedule.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in biology/biochemistry/chemistry, strong data entry skills in LIMS, and the ability to work independently within a GMP setting while collaborating with the team and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or related field.
• Directly-related experience is acceptable; two years equals one year of college in related major.

Responsibilities

• Perform biochemical testing on proteins and antibodies (CE, IC, HPLC, SEC, SDS-PAGE, UV, Protein A titer, Particulates).
• Enter data into LIMS and perform data integrity checks and verifications.
• Work independently and in GMP environment; participate in investigations and communicate results.

Job Description

• Perform biochemical testing on proteins and antibodies including, but not limited to,CE, IC, HPLC, SEC, SDS-PAGE, UV, Protein A titer, and Particulates
• Working as part of a team in a rotating NIGHT shift role from 5:45PM to 6AM (shift pattern of 3-2-2-3) which includes working weekends and holidays when they fall within the shift pattern
• Enter data into LIMS. Experience with Empower is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a GMP environment
• Participate in conducting investigations
• Document laboratory work in notebooks/e-notebooks/logbooks/electronic systems. perform data integrity checks, data verification reviews, and communicate results through electronic systems
• Collaborate closely with leaders and clients in implementing overall business directives

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or other related degree concentration, orequivalent directly-related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in related major)

Additional Information

• The position is full-time, 12 hr rotating shift on DAYS (3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off) from 5:45 AM to 6 PM
• May be requested to work on weekends, overtime, and holidays based on business needs.
