A leading company in recycling and recovery is seeking a Chemist for their Washington Laboratory. Responsibilities include performing organic analysis on various matrices and maintaining laboratory instrumentation. The ideal candidate has a graduate degree in a relevant science and experience in laboratory settings, specifically with chromatographic techniques.
What will I be doing?
As our Chemist, your main duties will sample preparation and testing of a variety of matrices for organic analysis, including Incinerator bottom and Air pollution control residues, in order to generate analytical reports for our energy from waste facilities. You will be required to run and maintain instrumentation such as GCMS, GCFID, GCTQMS, LCMSMS, TOC and IC as well as validation of new methods/techniques.
Your time will be split between laboratory, and our office department (same building), in order for you to be able to complete analysis and compile reports, working to ISO17025 standards.
