Working within the Technology & Innovation Laboratory, this position is responsible for formulating, testing, and evaluating advanced coating systems and raw materials. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to bring solutions from concept through commercialization. This role requires a strong foundation in chemistry, creativity in problem-solving, and a passion for scientific excellence.

Responsibilities

Minimum Requirements:

• Physical effort and dexterity: This role can entail some amount of lifting (40-50lbs)

• Environment and scheduling: This role can involve scale-ups at manufacturing facilities that may be hot or cold depending on the time of year. In these instances, more noise may be encountered (noise protection is supplied). Chemicals are used in the polymer making process (proper PPE is outlined and supplied). Travel is involved as needed to attend scale-ups

Pay Range

USD $65,500.00 - USD $83,100.00 /Yr.
