Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Senior Manager in Sourcing & Procurement with deep chemicals expertise to lead cost optimization and procurement process improvements for top clients. You will manage projects, mentor teams, and drive category strategies across Petrochemicals, Chlor-Alkalis, and related sectors.

Travel 10-50% is required as you coordinate with clients and suppliers, and you will contribute to Accenture’s Chemicals Center of Excellence by sharing knowledge and leading opportunities to scale

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing and procurement, including 4+ years in chemicals sourcing/negotiations
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 12 years of work experience if no degree
• Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements and develop project plans
• Coordinate resources and collaborate with SMEs across the firm
• Develop and present cost-reduction strategies to clients
• Mentor and develop junior staff
• Drive procurement process optimization and Center of Excellence initiatives
• Build client relationships and manage negotiations with suppliers
• Contribute to business development and thought leadership in chemicals
