Job summary

ResinTech Inc. in Forest Hill, MD is seeking a full-time technician to manage wastewater treatment operations, regenerations, and permit compliance. You will handle physical/chemical precipitation, filter press work, and lab analyses.

Ideal candidates may have 1-2 years of chemical operating experience or a chemistry degree, plus a valid driver’s license and shift flexibility. Lifting up to 50 lbs and forklift use are required in a wet environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years industrial chemical operating experience or chemistry degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with no outstanding issues; forklift experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Operate daily wastewater treatment processes and oversee physical/chemical precipitation.
• Manage filter press operation and maintenance.
• Perform wastewater metals analysis in the lab.
• Control chemical inventory (bulk and drum).
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Bulk resin regeneration responsibilities.
• Load and unload trucks as required.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Salary Range: $22.00 To $28.00 Hourly

JOB DESCRIPTION: Employee shall be responsible for the daily operation of the wastewater treatment process, ongoing regenerations and permit compliance.

Primary Responsibility

• Wastewater Treatment - Physical/Chemical Precipitation
• Filter Press Operation and maintenance
• Wastewater Metals Analysis (Lab)
• Chemical Inventory Control (Bulk and Drum)
• Process improvement

Secondary Responsibility

• Bulk Resin Regeneration
• Loading and Unloading Trucks
• All other tasks as assigned
