Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking an entry-level Chemical Handler to join our safety-conscious team in the Tualatin, Oregon area. You will perform waste pickups at customer facilities, assist with chemical bulking and labeling, and support spill response on site.

This role includes on-the-job training and growth opportunities. You will operate forklifts, inspect drums for integrity and regulatory compliance, and ensure safe loading/unloading of waste hauling vehicles while contributing to a compliant

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Willingness to complete a background check, drug test, and physical.

Responsibilities

• Making waste pickups throughout a customer’s facility;
• Conducting chemical bulking and consolidation;
• Packaging and labeling waste products to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance;
• Participating in spill response on customer’s site as needed;
• Operating forklifts;
• Inspecting drums for container integrity and regulatory compliance;
• Ensuring the safe loading and unloading of waste hauling vehicles;
• Completing waste stream sampling and profiling.
