Job Description

AECOM seeks a Chemical Warfare Material Manager to be based anywhere in the United States.

You will collaborate with a diverse team of technical experts to deliver remediation services to our clients in the Federal market. This role involves serving as a Deputy Program and Client Manager for the USACE Huntsville Center.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Managing and performing CWM removal under FFP or CPFF contracts for USACE.
  2. Developing technical approaches and competitive pricing for CWM and traditional munitions removal.
  3. Preparing workplans, schedules, managing budgets, ensuring quality, and leading field teams during removal actions.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • BSc/BA in engineering, environmental science, geology, or related field.
  • 10+ years’ experience as a Project Manager on federal projects or equivalent experience/education.
  • U.S. citizenship due to the nature of the work.

Preferred Requirements:

  • USACE MMRP experience in CWM remediation.
  • Knowledge of USACE EP 75-1-3 and experience with DDESB-approved Chemical Safety Submissions.
  • 5+ years managing CWM tasks for USACE Huntsville Center preferred.
  • Ability to manage projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Knowledge of project financials and reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with MMR programs, including CWM and geophysical classification.
  • Experience managing CWM projects for USACE Huntsville Center or Redstone Arsenal.
  • Proposal-writing skills, including for Multiple Award Task Order Contracts.
  • Ability to market and secure work effectively.
  • Advanced knowledge of DoD and USACE MMR processes related to CWM.
  • Strong references.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
