Job summary

Pyrotek, Inc. is seeking a Chemical Treat Operator for 2nd shift (Mon-Thu, 3:00 pm – 1:00 am) in Aurora, OH. The role involves identifying, moving and preparing raw materials, loading equipment, and operating chemical treatment vessels for material processing.

Responsibilities include reading production schedules, setting up tooling, documenting actions, and maintaining safety and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Prior saw usage and factory experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings or sketches.
• Ability to learn technical products used in manufacturing.
• Proficient math and measurement skills.
• Ability to document actions and maintain logs.

Responsibilities

• Read production schedules and work orders.
• Set up and operate band saw equipment.
• Document materials used and actions taken; report irregularities.
• Monitor and adjust equipment to maintain temperature, pressure and vacuum.
• Perform routine chemical tests to ensure specifications.
