Job summary

Kinder Morgan is seeking a Manual Liquid Product Handler to perform liquid product handling in an industrial setting. The role involves transfers by barge, rail, and truck, plus boiler operations and routine safety procedures.

You will inspect equipment, label containers per DOT, follow written and verbal instructions, and participate in safety programs while maintaining accurate documentation and working a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year experience in an industrial environment.
• Able to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to speak and understand English and write legibly.

Responsibilities

• Perform associated work as directed by work orders and supervision in a safe, timely and cost effective manner.
• Climb elevated tanks to gauge volume by a documented process.
• Transfer chemicals and/or petroleum products to/from bulk containers including rail cars and tank trucks.
• Open/close valves and connect/disconnect hoses to enable product transfer.
• Execute daily walk around inspections of liquid handling equipment across a multi-acre facility.
• Operate boilers and heating functions as required in terminal storage facilities.
• Conduct spill cleanup operations as needed.
• Maintain housekeeping and ensure containers are labeled per DOT regulations.
• Participate in safety programs and complete required training/tests.
• Maintain regular attendance and complete customer/company documentation clearly.
