The Chemical Technician coordinates and manages all aspects of the production chemical treating program in their assigned geographic region for Crescent Energy. They are responsible for the monitoring and optimization of all production chemicals, coordinating with operations team, and communicating plans and changes to the chemical vendor. This position reports directly to the Production Superintendent.
Under supervision, responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following essential functions:
Work is normally performed outdoors where exposure to conditions of extreme heat/cold, fumes and gases is common. Noise level is moderate to loud and includes sounds of construction, equipment operations, and trucks and like equipment. Job hazards include working in normal light and heavy construction activities and working around pressured propane, water, electricity, and waste lines and under all weather conditions. May work in areas where H2S is present. Overtime is sometimes required.
Work normally requires finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination to operate computer keyboard at moderate skill level. Work may require frequent pushing, pulling, or carrying 50-to-75-pound objects such as tools, equipment work operations. Work involves standing and walking most of the time but will also involve sitting and driving for extended periods sometimes over rough terrain.
