Qualifications

As a Chemical Technician, you play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of production equipment and chemical processes within the aluminum can manufacturing environment. This entry‑level position involver handling day‑to‑day operations, monitoring chemical processes, and maintaining equipment to support efficient and safe production. Your attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols contribute to maintaining product quality and operational excellence.

Our crews work 12‑hour shifts (6am‑6pm / 6pm‑6am) working a rotating 2‑3‑2 schedule. Schedules will rotate from day to night shift every 4 weeks.

  • Troubleshooting and Problem‑Solving, identity and resolve issues promptly, following established troubleshooting procedures to maintain continuous operations
  • Documenting and Reporting, maintain activities, and any incidents, ensuring clear communication with supervisors and team members
  • Continuous improvement, participate in initiatives aimed at optimizing processes, reducing waste, and enhancing overall production efficiency
Qualifications & Experience
  • 1+ years of job related experience (preferred work experience with hazardous chemicals)
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (additional technical training or coursework in chemistry or related fields)
  • Safety certifications (e.g., OSHA) are a plus
  • Basic computers skills
Compensation & Benefits
  • Expected Hiring Salary Range:$33.69/hr
  • This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.

  • Onsite Work Environment:This requires regular in‑person engagement by working on‑site. Travel and local commute between Ball locations and other possible non‑Ball locations may be required.
