What You Will Do In Your Role
- Perform routine process testing to ensure effective application of chemical programs.
- Lead troubleshooting and repair efforts for mill-owned chemical feed systems.
- Improve long-term reliability across mill-owned chemical systems by building effective asset strategies and executing preventative maintenance.
- Use critical thinking and collaboration to troubleshoot equipment and machinery.
- Support chemical/process trial activities
- Foster a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
- Work closely with Technicians, Manufacturing Engineers, Chemical Unloaders, Mill Engineering, and external experts to maintain and improve processes.
- Prioritize work for long-term value and remain flexible to changing conditions.
The Experience You Will Bring
- One(1)or more years' experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or water treatment setting
- Mechanical repair / troubleshooting knowledge
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience with Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, Outlook
What Will Put You Ahead
- Five (5) years or more of experience in the paper industry
- Experience with Asset Strategy Development
- Experience working with chemical applications
- Experience working in laboratory environments
