Job summary

Pace Analytical Services, LLC is seeking a Regulatory Analyst to transform data for safe transport of materials domestically and internationally. The role includes SDS authoring, data management, and regulatory review.

A hybrid schedule includes three days on site weekly, with training provided to grow in laboratory sciences and regulatory work. The ideal candidate holds a technical bachelor's degree and 1–3 years in chemical regulation and SDS authoring, plus basic regulatory knowledge and

  • 1-3 years of chemical regulatory experience preferred.
  • 1-3 years of SDS authoring experience preferred.

  • Authors Safety Data Sheets in compliance with domestic and global regulations.
  • Performs data management and analysis of raw materials.
  • Reviews regulatory information for accuracy and completes hazard communication.

Join us as a Regulatory Analyst, where you'll put your love of science to work in the Scientific Insourcing Solutions division. You'll receive all the training you need to successfully take on your new role and grow an exciting laboratory sciences career at Pace.

This position is primarily responsible for the transformationof data to be used for the safe transport of materials and goods both domestically and internationally.

Compensation: $22.00 - 25.00 per hour

NOTE: Hybrid role with 3 days per week onsite

What you'll do
  • Authors Safety Data Sheets in compliance with domestic and global regulations.
  • Completes and processes various types of standard regulatory forms, documents, databases, and related materials and information.
  • Provides data management and analysis of raw materials.
  • Completes general hazard communication and reviews regulatory information for accuracy.
  • Works in computer applications and systems related to the work:
    • Excel
    • Teams
    • 3EGenerate
  • Contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of the department's service to its customers by offering suggestions and directing or participating as an active member of a work team.
  • Promotes and supports the overall mission of Pace Analytical by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with customers and staff; acts in a manner that promotes a harmonious and effective workplace environment.
What you'll bring
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical field such as chemistry, biology or related discipline.
  • 1-3 years of chemical regulatory experience, preferred.
  • 1- 3 years of SDS authoring experience, preferred.
  • Some understanding of GHS and chemical regulatory compliance.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Good database management skills, including attention to detail.
  • Computer applications and systems related to the work.
  • Principles and practices for serving as an effective project team member
