Job summary

Apex is looking for a Chemical Propulsion Engineer to develop propulsion systems for their spacecraft platforms. This role involves designing and testing chemical propulsion systems while working closely with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and hands-on experience with propulsion systems, as well as the ability to collaborate and troubleshoot in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of propulsion design and test experience.
• U.S. Person status is required for access to export controlled data.
• Experience with handling and testing pressurized systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test chemical propulsion systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate propulsion systems.
• Troubleshoot anomalies during manufacturing.

Skills

Propulsion design and test experience

Experience with mono and bi-propellant chemical propulsion

Experience with CAD software (NX, SolidWorks)

Design fluidic systems

Education
