Phenomenex, located in Torrance, CA, is seeking a Chemical Production Technician I to manufacture media batches following SOPs and GMP guidelines. This on-site role reports to the Sr. Production Manager within Manufacturing & Operations.

Responsibilities include operating production equipment, assisting with in-process testing, weighing and adding raw materials, and maintaining records to ensure compliance with SOPs and ISO 9001 requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Advanced degree or training in Chemistry or other technical field
• Experience with chemical handling

Responsabilités

• Carries out processing steps in a batch manufacturing environment by operating production equipment and using sound judgement as needed.
• Assist with in-process testing to assure batches meet specifications.
• Weighs, measures and adds raw materials to ensure batches contain correct materials and quantities.
• Maintain records and work area to comply with SOP's, company policies, cGMP and ISO 9001 requirements.
