Job summary

Siegfried USA is seeking a production technician to operate chemical processing equipment, monitor process parameters, and maintain accurate batch logs. The role requires reading instruments, performing simple tests, and adhering to safety and quality standards.

The candidate should have an HS Diploma, be able to work in a chemical manufacturing environment, and handle heavy lifting with proper safety practices. Overtime and respirator use may be required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be able to read and write legibly in English and perform mathematical calculations such as yield and scale-down batch ratios.
• Prior bulk pharmaceutical experience or batch chemical experience is required.
• Must be able to work accurately and according to written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to work in a chemical manufacturing plant environment.
• Must be able to obtain respiratory clearance.
• Must also be clean shaven to wear a face respirator when required.
• Must be able to do heavy physical work and climb stairs. The heavy physical work consists of breaking and rolling drums that can weigh up to 400 lbs. Frequency: every shift

Responsibilities

• Operate chemical production equipment and monitor processes.
• Interpret instrument readings and adjust as required.
• Maintain Batch Log Records with materials, pressures, temperatures, etc.
• Perform simple analytical tests and collect samples.
• Keep others informed of changes in the environment and deviations in the process.
• Assist with process validation/qualification and improvements.
• Follow SOPs and Siegfried Code of Conduct.
