Job summary

Hire Evolution Consulting is seeking a Production Operator to support manufacturing and packaging operations. You will follow procedures, maintain quality, and work safely to ensure efficient production in a physically demanding role.

The role involves moving chemicals and equipment between areas using forklifts, pallets jacks, and pumps, while maintaining records and complying with safety and quality standards. OT may occur; contract-to-hire available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or associate degree in life sciences with related experience.
• 1–3 years of relevant manufacturing experience preferred.
• Forklift experience is required.
• 1–2 years of chemical manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of safe chemical handling practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
• Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work with PPE.

Responsibilities

• Perform production and packaging operations according to established procedures.
• Transport chemicals, materials, and equipment between production areas using pumps, piping, forklifts, pallet jacks, and dollies.
• Monitor product quality and quantity throughout the manufacturing process.
• Wear appropriate PPE, including full-face respirators, gloves, and protective suits.
• Clean equipment and work areas after production.
• Coordinate waste disposal and complete required compliance documentation.
• Maintain accurate production records, batch documentation, and equipment logbooks.
• Communicate production and equipment status to supervisors and report deviations or concerns.
• Follow safety policies, production procedures, and quality requirements.
• Label in-process materials, containers, and equipment properly.
• Identify and address unsafe working conditions.
• Participate in required safety and quality training.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly work environment.
