Job summary

Lkjordan is seeking a Chemical Processor to operate and monitor a range of chemical processing machines on rotating shifts in a temp-to-hire role. You will ensure correct feeding of materials and maintain batch quality while adhering to safety protocols.

You will read and follow SOPs, manage batch records, and observe strict handling of hazardous materials with appropriate PPE. The job requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a chemical environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational training a plus.
• 1+ year as a Machine Operator in batch, chemical, or manufacturing.
• Experience reading and interpreting SOPs, batch records, and safety guidelines.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work with PPE in chemical environments.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor chemical processing machines.
• Adjust machine settings to meet production specs and ensure proper feed.
• Measure, weigh, mix chemicals; take samples for lab analysis and adjust accordingly.
• Follow OSHA safety regulations and wear PPE; report spills or leaks.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance; escalate major issues.
