Job summary

PDS Tech is seeking an experienced Chemical Processing Lead to oversee 2nd shift wet processing, chemical line operations, and metal finishing. This role combines hands-on plating/surface treatment expertise with operational leadership—guiding team operators, maintaining quality standards, and assisting with Nadcap audit preparedness.

The position requires leadership capability, strong technical knowledge of plating and surface treatments, and the ability to read and interpret specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in wet process chemical operations and plating.
• Ability to read technical specs, drawings, and procedures.
• Strong leadership and training skills.
• Comfortable in chemical/plating production environment.
• Basic computer use for production tracking.

Responsibilities

• Lead 2nd shift operations, supervise operators, enforce safety, train staff.
• Oversee chemical/wet processing and surface finishing activities.
• Monitor quality to meet blueprints and specs; support Nadcap audit prep.
• Manage production reports and maintain housekeeping.
