Job summary

rms Company in Minnesota is seeking a Chemical Process Technician to join the production team. You will collaborate with Chemical Engineering to safely operate and maintain production chemistries while upholding quality standards and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include handling hazardous materials, completing process documentation, calibrating lab equipment, and supporting process improvements with engineering and production staff. Shift: 1st, Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:30pm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or equivalent experience required.
• Ability to understand acid-base chemistry and basic stoichiometry.
• Experience creating reports/validations per ISO, GMP and ASTM standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to instruct non-technical operators.
• Adherence to environmental, health and safety standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain production solution chemistries with safety and quality compliance.
• Complete required paperwork with process conditions, test results, and readings.
• Maintain calibration schedules for lab equipment.
• Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction projects with engineering and production teams.
• Troubleshoot processes and develop procedures with engineering for efficiency gains.
• Adhere to ISO, GMP and ASTM standards in all tasks.
