Job summary
Ashton North LLC is hiring a Process / Production Engineer to support batch and continuous chemical operations, troubleshoot equipment issues, and drive improvements across safety, productivity, quality, and cost. The role requires hands-on production support, mass balances, and active participation in PSM initiatives.
The ideal candidate holds a BS in Chemical Engineering with 3+ years in process/production environments, familiarity with PHA, MOC, P&IDs, and lean six sigma.
Qualifications
- BS Chemical Engineering degree with 3+ years' experience in process/production engineering.
- Experience with PSM/chemical operating plants.
- Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Production support for batch/continuous chemical operations, troubleshooting process/equipment issues.
- Track production yields and perform mass balances.
- Lead process improvement projects.
- Drive continuous improvements in safety, productivity, quality, reliability and cost.
- Support downtime and runtime optimization.
- Involved with production and material planning, packaging, shipping, and receiving.
- Participate in PSM initiatives and audits.
- Implement MOC, PSSR, P&ID, hazard reviews, SOPs, SPC, SQC.
- Lead incident investigations and problem-solving sessions.
- Assist with training of Operations Teams.
