Job summary

Color Mate Dispersions Inc in Gastonia, NC is seeking a skilled Chemical Operator to join our production team. This hands-on role focuses on producing high-quality chemical dispersions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with emphasis on precision, safety, and efficiency.

You will operate equipment, measure and mix raw materials, perform quality checks, and document batch data while adhering to SOPs, GMP, and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in chemical manufacturing or related industrial environment.
• Familiarity with chemical handling, mixing equipment, and batch processing.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs, SDS, and work orders.
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor chemical processing equipment to produce dispersion products per specs.
• Measure, weigh, and mix raw materials including pigments, resins, and additives.
• Conduct quality control checks and record batch data accurately.
• Follow SOPs and GMP; maintain OSHA safety compliance.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions or deviations.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and transferring materials.
