Job summary

ExcelliSearch, Inc. is seeking a Chemical Process/Production Engineer to support plant operations, drive continuous improvements and ensure compliance with EHS/PSM regulations.

You will troubleshoot batch and continuous operations, track yields and perform mass balances, and lead process-improvement projects. The role requires a BS in Chemical Engineering with 3+ years in process/production engineering within chemical plants, plus experience with Lean/Six Sigma and P&ID/MOC/PSSR processes.

Qualifications

• BS Chemical Engineering with 3+ years experience in process/production engineering in chemical plants.
• Experience with Lean/Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement.
• Familiar with unit operations: reactors, distillation, polymerization, esterification, filtration, dryers, twin-screw extrusion, heat treatment.
• Able to work in the USA without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Involved in day to day production support for the batch/continuous chemical operations including troubleshooting and problem solving of process/equipment issues.
• Track Production Yields and Perform Mass Balances
• Handle process improvement projects.
• Manages continuous improvements in safety, productivity, quality, reliability and cost.
• Support process downtime and runtime.
• Involved with production and material planning, packaging, shipping, and receiving.
• Participate in PSM initiatives and audits.
• Implement change management processes including MOC, PSSR, P&ID, hazard reviews, SOPs, SPC, SQC.
• Lead incident investigations and problem-solving sessions (safety, quality, production, reliability, etc.)
• Assist with Training of Operations Teams.
