Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize polymerization processes and associated downstream operations.


• Conduct laboratory experiments and pilot-scale trials to evaluate new process conditions and materials.


• Analyze process data to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.


• Troubleshoot process issues and implement solutions to ensure consistent production.


• Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality assurance teams to achieve project goals.


• Prepare technical documentation, including process flow diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs, and operating procedures.


• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality regulations.


• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and equipment for polymer manufacturing.


• Manage process development projects from conception through to implementation.


• Provide technical support and training to production personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.


• Minimum of 4 years of experience in process engineering, with a focus on polymer manufacturing or a related chemical industry.


• Strong understanding of polymerization chemistry and processes (e.g., bulk, solution, emulsion).


• Experience with process simulation and modeling tools.


• Knowledge of polymer characterization techniques is a plus.


• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.


• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.


• Ability to work effectively in a remote and collaborative team environment.


• Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).


• Must be willing to travel occasionally to **East London** for on-site activities.
