Job summary

Cindavi in Douglas, GA, seeks a Chemical Process Engineer to own an assigned process from development to plant operation. You will manage batch tracking, materials, and on-site execution while collaborating with operators and customers to drive continuous improvements.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Chemical Engineering with up to 5 years of experience, strong fundamentals, and a practical mindset. On‑site work, with some on‑call nights/weekends, and a base salary starting at $75,000 plus a 5–10%

Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemical Engineering; internship/co‑op encouraged.
• 0–5 years of process engineering, process development, or manufacturing experience.
• Solid applied engineering fundamentals: mass and energy balances, unit operations, and basic process economics.
• Strong communication skills to work with operators and customer leadership.
• Self-starter who takes instruction well and needs minimal daily management.
• Willingness to be on call nights and weekends.
• Experience in batch processing and exposure to scale-up, process safety management, and cost analysis is valued.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of an assigned process end to end, including batch tracking and raw material management.
• Translate customer technology transfer into plant-scale processes through lab, kilo lab, and pilot plant.
• Collaborate with operators, maintenance, and production to troubleshoot live issues and improve procedures.
• Develop block flow diagrams, mass and energy balances, and material specifications.
• Build cost models for new processes and evaluate profitability before production.
• Support Process Safety Management activities and regulatory work including PMN submissions.
• Communicate with internal teams and external customers from floor operators to customer leadership.
