Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field, or current senior in a related program.
Coursework in material and energy balances, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat and mass transfer.
Strong Excel and engineering-calculation capabilities.
Ability to work on-site on a consistent part-time schedule coordinated with the department.
Valid driver's license for business travel.
Ability to pass a hair follicle drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

Independently perform defined material and energy balances.
Analyze process data and identify trends and abnormal conditions.
Develop engineering calculations for fluid flow, heat transfer, and reactor performance.
Support pilot-plant and production troubleshooting.
Prepare engineering reports and technical documentation.
