Job summary

C&S Chemicals, Inc. is seeking a Chemical Plant Operator to join our production team in a shift role. You will operate chemical processing equipment, including digesters, mixers and pumps, ensuring safe and efficient production of alum and related chemicals.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in plant operations, a high school diploma or GED, and basic mechanical skills. This on-site position requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays, with opportunities for growth and a focus on

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of experience in plant operations (preferred).
• Experience in mechanical maintenance, plumbing, electrical work, and/or operation of heavy equipment is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.
• Proficiency in data collection and analysis.
• Mechanical knowledge for equipment troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Operate chemical processing equipment such as digesters, mixers and pumps, and monitor production.
• Adjust settings and control parameters to meet quality and efficiency standards.
• Conduct inspections and tests to ensure product quality and equipment safety.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets.
