Responsibilities

• Induct, load, and unload parts.
• Maintain prescribed chemistry as required.
• Clean electrical contacts as required.
• Perform chemical dumps.
• Maintain tank levels and temperatures.
• Record daily pressure readings for hoods and scrubber per EPA directives.
• Calibrate precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers).
• Read/interpret blueprints for quality products.
• Maintain and service conveyor system (filters, pumps, hydraulics, tanks).
• Manage spare parts and tooling inventory.
• Ensure proper makeup of tank chemistry.
• Adjust recipes to salvage undersized materials.

Chemical Operator job description :

• - Induct, load, and unload piece parts.
• - Maintain and add prescribed chemistry as required.
• - Clean electrical contacts as required.
• - Perform chemical dumps.
• - Maintain tank levels and temperatures as required.
• - Record daily pressure readings for hoods and scrubber mesh pads per EPA directives.
• - Setup, use, and ensure proper calibration of precision measuring equipment, such as calipers and micrometers.
• - Read/interpret blueprints to ensure quality products.
• - Perform all maintenance on conveyor system: filter system, pumping system, hydraulic system, and tanks.
• - Maintain spare parts and tooling inventory.
• - Ensure proper makeup of tank chemistry.
• - Adjust recipes to salvage undersized materials.
• - Must have 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• - Must be able to read blueprints.

Additional information :

Starting pay rate: $20.90/hour + $1.00 night shift premium

Night Shift: M-TH, 8:00pm -6:00am

Successful candidates must be able to work overtime when required including weekends.

Summary Pay Range:

$20.90 - $27.10
