Olin Chemicals in Niagara Falls, NY, seeks a Chemical Operator/Loader to ensure safe, reliable operation of a complex chemical plant. You will load/unload products, monitor process conditions, and support start-ups and shutdowns in a team environment.

Salary: $24/hour starting rate. Hourly rate increases on a set schedule based on both skill qualification and time in role.
Schedule: Rotating 12-hour schedule; days & nights.
Focus: This position ensures a safe and reliable operation of a complex/heavily regulated chemical production plant by following operating disciplines, procedures, and work processes in a team environment.
Candidates will be hired to work in a variety of operator/technician roles across the plant depending on current availability.
These plant roles may include: Chemical Operator or Loader.
High school diploma or equivalentMinimum of three years of work experience (36 months of full-time work at time of application)Ability to demonstrate mechanical reasoning, spatial reasoning, and behavioral measures identified as important for the role
Associate's degree* in Process Technology, Industrial Engineering, Instrumentation, Electrical or Computer TechnologyProduction, maintenance, and/or distribution related experience in an industrial or manufacturing environmentRelevant military experience with a technical specialtyPrior Olin experience in a related position
