Job summary

ProSource People seeks a B Operator to assist in operating units used in day-to-day production, including catalyst regeneration and screening. The role covers bin changes, forklift tasks, labeling, and safety compliance, with focus on accurate documentation and clean work areas.

Responsibilities include unit startup/shutdown activities, collaboration with the Shift Supervisor to troubleshoot issues, and strict adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Promote a safe working environment by constantly communicating the need to follow all safety guidelines, also lead by example in this area
• Must be able to operate a forklift
• Unload chemical trucks as needed
• Will label product on a regular basis; accuracy in labeling will be critical
• Will count bins and verify counts as needed. Must be accurate in all count checks
• Must be able to understand the Hazardous waste label procedures and ensure drums are labeled properly
• Will be responsible for different paperwork throughout the shift and must have attention to detail in all labeling and paperwork matters
• Will be responsible for the sampling of Catalyst product throughout the shift
• Attend all trainings and meetings (technical, safety, environmental...) as required
• Must participate in monthly safety meetings

Responsibilities

• Run the Units used in day-to-day production processes, including Catalyst Regeneration, Catalyst Sulfiding, and Catalyst Screening
• Perform bin changing, feed sack staging, lining drums, dumping trash drums, and unit clean-up before and after jobs
• Maintain clean change-room, control room and break room
• Assist with building classifiers and troubleshooting equipment issues with Shift Supervisor
• Review and follow job shutdown checklists, verify product and waste container counts, and submit samples for labeling
• Adhere to safety requirements including safety equipment policies, LOTO, and confined space entry procedures
• Ensure documentation and labeling accuracy and timely communication of any updates

Position Summary: The B Operator is primarily responsible for assisting with running the Units that are used in the day-to-day operation of all company productionprocesses,which includes: Catalyst Regeneration, Catalyst Sulfiding, and Catalyst Screening.

Basic daily functions will include but are not limited to:

• Bin changing


• Feed sack staging


• Lining drums


• Dumping trash drums


• Unit blow downs and clean-up both before and after jobs


• Maintaining a clean change-room, control room and break room


• Helping to build classifiers


• When equipment issues arise, workin partnership with the Shift Supervisor to trouble shoot and find solutions


• Constantly checkfor document updates (i.e.: special notes) to ensure that unit is consistently run with correct requirements


• Adhereto the Job Shutdown Checklist, which includes checking count of product and waste containers, making sample requests, checking the last label, and verifying the packaging. Presents to Shift Supervisor for final sign off

Run the unit in compliance with Safety requirements:

• Safety equipment policies, LOTO, Permit-Required Confined Space Entry Program


• Emergency procedures


• Workbook specific requirements written down
