Job summary

Emery Oleochemicals Group in Cincinnati is seeking an Operator to perform blending, loading, sampling, and monitoring tasks to ensure product quality and production Schedule adherence.

You will handle blending calculations, load transportation, collect samples, and log SAP entries, while maintaining a clean, safe work environment and following SH&E guidelines. The role includes rotating shifts and potential extended hours.

Qualifications

• Ability to work more than 40 hours per week and extended shifts as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Demonstrated reliability in attendance and adherence to safety practices.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately calculate and prepare blends and load tank trucks or railcars in accordance with the production schedule and operating conditions.
• Collect samples to verify product quality and decide on proper product storage to meet specs.
• Monitor inventory levels and make storage decisions to support shipping requirements.
• Conduct routine rounds to identify abnormal conditions and take corrective action.
• Operate flaking rolls per standard operating procedures.
• Ensure all blends meet customer specifications.
• Maintain housekeeping standards each shift and stock consumables to support operations.
• Follow plant safety requirements and participate in safety trainings and meetings.
