EPITEC in Marlborough, MA is seeking a Day shift Chemical Operator / Material Handler for a 12-month assignment. Duties include producing and packaging batches in the Marlborough semiconductor manufacturing areas, with emphasis on safety and attention to detail.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, ability to work 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, and willingness to work overtime as needed. Experience in manufacturing or clean rooms is preferred; forklift experience is a plus.

Title: Chemical Operator/ Materiel Handler

Location: Marlborough MA Onsite

Duration: 12 months plus extensions

Qualifications:

Day shift chemical operator - $24.50/HR Perform manufacturing batch processing tasks as specified in written procedures to support the production, packaging, and handling of materials in Marlborough, MA. The position requires a focus on safety, strong communication skills, and a resiliency to attention to detail.

• Must be able to work all scheduled times of the week.
• First shift is 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
• The position offers overtime hours contingent on business demand. Background/Skill Requirements:
• Minimum requirement of High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment and/or clean room is preferred.
• Fork Truck operation experience a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Exceptional Attention to Detail.
• Self-motivating and hard working. Physical Requirements:
• Light to moderate physical effort required.
• Standing/Walking for the majority of the 8-hour shift.
• Lifting required occasionally of up to 40 pounds.
• Bending, pushing and pulling required on a daily basis.
• Ability to occasionally work at table level and/or overhead level as necessary.
• Required to wear appropriate PPE.
• Required to work in a RESTRICTED electrically classified area for use of flammable and combustible materials. Responsibilities:As a Material Handling Specialist, you will produce, and package batches produce in Marlboro manufacturing areas for the semiconductor industry. Responsibilities:
• Maintain a safe working environment and participate in all required safety programs, training, and activities.
• Follow Operating Discipline principles, procedures and practices to ensure safe and efficient operation of assigned plant areas.
• Handling hazardous raw materials and products with appropriate care and precautions.
• Operate and field check process equipment. Monitor process conditions, equipment, and DCS/Delta V control systems. o Receive direction from area leads/supervisor and complete assigned tasks. o Complete routine and repetitive activities such as labeling, forming and filling boxes, moving materials and equipment. Work Environment:
• Work performed in a plant environment.
• Exposure to elements such as odor, noise, dust, heat, cold, chemical and other elements.
• Required to wear appropriate and designated PPE within certain areas of the plant (e.g. hard-hat, goggles, gloves, respirator, cleanroom garment). #INDPRO
